alfavet Dia Paste PRO is a dietary supplement for dogs and cats. Pre-/probiotic to stabilise physiological digestion.

A healthy intestinal flora has been proven to be responsible not only for intestinal health itself, but also for a well-functioning immune system. If the intestinal flora is out of balance, pathogenic germs can multiply and cause digestive disorders such as diarrhoea or flatulence. The intestinal flora can also be negatively affected by antibiotics.

Dia Paste PRO restores the balance of the intestinal flora, protects the intestinal mucosa, stabilises digestion and can thus support the immune system. The paste can also be used to rebuild the intestinal flora after antibiotics.

Enterococcus faecium is a probiotic lactic acid-producing bacterium which, as a living microorganism, helps to stabilise the intestinal flora.
Prebiotic fructo-oligosaccharides and carob flourserve as nutrients for the growth of the desired microorganisms in the intestine and thus contribute to the maintenance of healthy intestinal flora.
Bentonite is a clay mineral with a high swelling capacity and high water binding capacity.

Directions for use

Feeding recommendation: At risk of, during and after digestive disorders. To be administered with the feed. For a weight:

Up to 5 kg - 1 g twice daily.
From > 5 - 10 kg - 2 x 2 g daily.
From > 10 - 25 kg - 2 x 4 g daily.
From > 25 - 40 kg - 2 x daily 6 g.
Over 40 kg - 8 g twice daily.

2 g correspond to a paste strand of approx. 4 cm or approx. ½ teaspoon.

Recommended feeding duration: Up to 4 weeks. It is safe to extend the feeding period. It is recommended to seek the advice of a vet before feeding or extending the feeding period. Administration can be repeated.

Note: The simultaneous oral administration of macrolides should be avoided. Dia Paste PRO may only be fed up to 6.7 % of the daily ration due to the increased content of additives.

Composition: Oils and fats, meat and animal by-products, fructo-oligosaccharides 5 %, yeasts, malt, carob flour 1.5 %.
Analytical constituents: crude protein 5.7 %, crude fibre 0.3 %, crude fat 46 %, crude ash 28.4 %.
Additives per kg: Intestinal flora stabiliser: Enterococcus faecium NICMB 10415 2 x 1011 CFU.
Technological additives: Bentonite 300,000 mg, butylhydroxyanisole 1,940 mg.
Essential nutritional characteristics: Feed additive of the functional group "Intestinal flora stabilisers".
