A Wellion LUNA test strip is a high-tech product. The test strip consists of different layers into which electrodes are incorporated in a complex process. This measurement generates a current, which is converted by the measuring device into a corresponding uric acid value and shown on the display. The AUTO CODING technology simplifies the handling of the uric acid measurement.
We have deliberately decided to produce the Wellion LUNA test strips in a handy size, making it very easy and safe to remove them from the container and insert them into the device. The end at which blood is drawn into the reaction zone of the strip using sip-in technology is far enough away from the measuring device due to the dimensions of the strip to prevent contamination with blood. For use with the Wellion LUNA Trio blood glucose meter.
