A Wellion LUNA test strip is a high-tech product. The test strip consists of various layers into which electrodes are incorporated in a complex process. This measurement generates a current which is converted by the measuring device into a corresponding cholesterol value and shown on the display. The AUTO CODING technology facilitates the handling of the cholesterol measurement.
We have deliberately decided to produce the Wellion LUNA test strips in a handy size, making it very easy and safe to remove them from the container and insert them into the device. The end at which blood is drawn into the reaction zone of the strip using sip-in technology is far enough away from the measuring device due to the dimensions of the strip to prevent contamination with blood.
