Weleda birch charcoal comp. capsules, 20 ST

Weleda Birch Charcoal Compound Capsules are a homeopathic medicinal product based on anthroposophic principles. They are intended for use in cases of acute digestive disorders involving flatulence and intestinal cramps, as well as diarrhoea.

The antispasmodic extracts from chamomile root and the regulating and fortifying effect of antimonite, together with birch charcoal which binds water and gases, help to normalise disturbed stomach and bowel functions.

The indications are derived from the homeopathic drug pictures. According to anthroposophical understanding of humanity and nature, these include:

• Acute digestive disorders involving flatulence, intestinal cramps and diarrhoea.

The use of this homeopathic remedy, which is part of the anthroposophic therapeutic approach, in the aforementioned indications is based exclusively on anthroposophic experience. In severe forms of this condition, a clinically proven treatment is indicated.

Directions for use

• Adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over: 1 capsule 3 to 5 times daily.
• Use in children: There is insufficient documented experience regarding the use of Birkenkohle comp. in children under 12 years of age. It should therefore not be used.
• Method of administration: The capsules should be swallowed whole with plenty of liquid (1 glass of water).
• Duration of use: Birch Charcoal Comp. should not be taken for longer than 2 weeks.

Ingredients

• 1 capsule contains: The active ingredients are: 27 mg antimonite D2, 232 mg Carbo Betulae, 11 mg Chamomilla recutita, Radix, ethanol. Decoctum ∅=D1.
• The other ingredients are: lactose, 70% sorbitol solution (non-crystallising); capsule shell: gelatine.
