Dosage form
Directions for use
- Adults and children over 12 years: 1 to 4 sachets per day. Increase or decrease the dose to achieve regular elimination of soft stools - the response to taking the product is individual. The maximum dose is normally no more than 4 sachets per day. Take the contents of the sachet as they are. Immediately after consuming a WAYA Lax® sachet, you must drink a sufficient amount of water, namely 125 ml of water for each sachet used. If you are taking the smallest dose (1 sachet per day), it is recommended that you consume the product in the morning. For larger doses, divide the intake between morning and evening. If the symptoms do not improve after 7 days of taking the product, you should consult a doctor. The product takes effect within 24-72 hours.
- Warnings: We recommend consulting a doctor before using the product on children. Children must use the product under the direct supervision of an adult. Consult your doctor before using the product during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Do not use the product after the expiry date indicated on the packaging. Do not use the product if the packaging or sachets are opened or damaged. The product can shorten the transit time through the gastrointestinal tract and thereby reduce the absorption of ingested medication. It is therefore recommended that you consult your doctor if you are taking WAYA Lax® and medication at the same time. Always take the medication at least two hours apart. The product can lead to interactions if it is taken together with thickening agents containing starch. The ingredient macrogol cancels out the thickening effect of starch and can liquefy preparations that must otherwise remain thick for people with swallowing disorders (dysphagia). If you notice any side effects, you should stop taking the product and consult your doctor.
