Vliwazell® Pro: Sterile absorbent dressing with a super-absorbent core. Ideal for the management of wounds with high levels of exudate. High level of comfort & reliable absorption.

Vliwazell Pro is an absorbent dressing with super-absorbent properties for the management of wounds with moderate to very heavy exudate, even under compression. Rapid absorption and even distribution of exudate reduce the risk of maceration of the wound and the surrounding skin.*

The very high absorption capacity allows for extended dressing change intervals with long periods of wound rest.* Good dimensional stability – even when used vertically – thanks to the compressed super-absorbent layer. In addition, the practical laundry protection prevents clothing and bed linen from becoming soaked.

Intended use

• Absorbent, multi-layer wound dressing for the management of exudate from acute and chronic wounds.

Indications

For the management of acute and chronic, moderately to heavily exuding, superficial and deep** wounds, in cases of:

• arterial and venous ulcers, diabetic ulcers
• pressure ulcers
• post-traumatic wounds
• post-operative wounds healing by secondary intention
• split-skin graft sites
• oncological wounds
• ulcerating tumours
• wounds at risk of infection
• superficial second-degree burns
• lymphatic wounds

and as a secondary dressing on laparotomy wounds and fistulas.

**) Vliwazell Pro can be used as a secondary dressing in combination with a suitable wound filler (e.g. Suprasorb Liquacel, Suprasorb A, Suprasorb A+Ag) for the management of deep wounds.
