Vliwazell Pro is an absorbent dressing with superabsorbent properties for the care of medium to very heavily exuding wounds, even under compression. The risk of maceration of the wound and wound environment is reduced thanks to rapid absorption and even distribution of exudate*

The very high absorption capacity enables long dressing change intervals with long wound rest phases.* Good dimensional stability - even when applied vertically - thanks to the pressed superabsorbent layer. In addition, clothing and bed linen are protected from soaking through the practical laundry protection.

Intended use

• Absorbent, multi-layer wound dressing for exudate management of acute and chronic wounds

Fields of application

For the treatment of acute and chronic, moderately to very heavily exuding, superficial and deep** wounds, for

• arterial and venous ulcers, diabetic ulcers
• Pressure ulcers
• post-traumatic wounds
• post-operative secondary healing wounds
• Split skin donor sites
• oncological wounds
• exulcerating tumours
• wounds at risk of infection
• superficial 2nd degree burns
• lymphatic wounds

and as a secondary dressing on laparotomy wounds and fistulas.

**Vliwazell Pro can be used as a secondary dressing in combination with a suitable wound filler (e.g. Suprasorb Liquacel, Suprasorb A, Suprasorb A+Ag) for the treatment of deep wounds.
