Viburcol® vials of oral solution is a homeopathic medicinal product for use from birth onwards to treat restlessness, with or without fever, and provides support in the treatment of minor infections.

Viburcol is a homeopathic combination medicine comprising various individual homeopathic remedies whose medicinal profiles complement one another.

The indications are derived from the homeopathic medicinal profiles. The following indication is authorised for this medicine:

As an adjunct in the management of minor infections and restlessness, with or without fever.
The use of this homeopathic medicine in the indicated areas of application is based solely on homeopathic experience.

In severe forms of these conditions, clinically proven treatment is indicated. Viburcol is used in adults, adolescents and children from 1 day of age. In children under 1 month of age, use should be following consultation with a doctor. If you do not feel better after 7 days, or if your condition worsens (after 2 days in children under 2 years of age), consult your doctor.

Adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over: 1 ampoule three times daily; for acute symptoms: 1 ampoule every half hour to hourly, up to 8 times daily
Children from 1 day to 23 months: 5 drops three times a day
Children aged 2 to 5 years: 5 to 10 drops three times a day
Children aged 6 to 11 years: 10 drops three times a day

For acute symptoms:

Children from 1 day to 23 months: 5 drops every half hour to every hour, up to 4 times a day
Children aged 2 to 5 years: 5 to 10 drops every half hour to every hour, up to 6 times a day
Children aged 6 to 11 years: 10 drops every half hour to one hour, up to 8 times a day

Use in children under 1 month of age must be under medical supervision. Once symptoms improve, the frequency of administration should be reduced.

Method of administration:

For oral use.
Detach one vial from the strip. Open the detached vial immediately before use by twisting the cap. Dispense the prescribed number of drops by gently squeezing the vial. To take the drops undiluted, either place them directly into the mouth or onto a spoon. Swallow the drops. To take the drops diluted, mix them with a little water and drink the mixture. Only use the opened vial on the day it is opened.

Duration of use:

If you do not feel any better or actually feel worse after 7 days (after 2 days for children under 2 years of age), consult your doctor.

Use in children: Use in children under 1 month of age must be under medical supervision.

The other ingredients are: sodium chloride, water for injections, traces of lactose monohydrate
