Venoruton contains the active ingredient oxerutin, which belongs to a group of medicines thatprotect blood vessels (known as systemic vasoprotectors).
Venoruton stabilises the vessel walls, whichleads to a reduction in vascular permeability and,consequently, a reduction in swelling (oedema).
This medicine is used as an adjunctive treatment for the following conditions:
in conditions affecting the veins of the legs, such as:
- fluid retention (oedema) and swelling
- pain, cramps or tingling in the legs, ‘tired and heavy legs’.
- haemorrhoids.

For oral use.
Swallow whole with sufficient liquid during meals.
The recommended dose is 2 tablets per day (1 tablet in the morning and 1 in the evening, or 2tablets at once, either in the morning or in the evening).
A course of treatment lasting 4 to 8 weeks is usually sufficient. The effect persists beyond this period

The active ingredient is: O-(beta-hydroxyethyl)-rutoside (= oxerutin).
One tablet contains: 500 mg O-(beta-hydroxyethyl)-rutoside (= oxerutin).
The other ingredients are: macrogol 6000, magnesium stearate, highly dispersedsilicon dioxide.
