- Cremolum looks like a vaginal suppository, but is unique in its kind. It melts in the warmth of the vagina and, together with vaginal fluid, forms a cream that provides long-lasting care for the inside of the vagina.
- Unlike Vagisan Moisturising Cream, which is inserted into the vagina using an applicator, Vagisan Moisturising Cream Cremolum is simply inserted into the vagina with a finger. The warmth and moisture cause the vaginal suppository to transform into the nourishing cream.
- The addition of a lactic acid-calcium lactate buffer ensures that the cream formed in the vagina has a pH value (acidity level) of approximately 4.5 – thereby helping Vagisan Moisturising Cream Cremolum to maintain a healthy vaginal environment.
Dosage form
Directions for use
- The vaginal suppositories are inserted into the vagina, preferably before going to bed.
- One Cremolum can be used once a day or less frequently (e.g. 2–3 times a week). The frequency of use depends on individual symptoms.
- The suppository takes approximately 30 minutes to dissolve. Please allow sufficient time before engaging in sexual intercourse to avoid any discomfort caused by residual suppository material in the vagina.
- It is recommended that you wear a panty liner whilst using the product.
- Vagisan FeuchtCreme Cremolum can also be used during pregnancy and whilst breastfeeding.
- The suppositories are hormone-free (free from oestrogens) and can therefore also be used alongside systemic hormone replacement therapy (HRT) or in alternation with vaginal creams or suppositories containing hormones (oestrogens).
