Traumeel® tablets for animals are a homeopathic medicinal product. The use of this homeopathic medicinal product in the indicated areas of application is based solely on homeopathic experience.

The following indications are authorised for this medicinal product:

• Blunt injuries such as sprains, bruises and contusions; inflammatory conditions of the musculoskeletal system such as arthritis, tendovaginitis and bursitis; as an adjunct in the treatment of inflammatory conditions of other tissues such as phlegmon and mastitis.

The use of this homeopathic medicinal product in the indicated areas of application is based exclusively on homeopathic experience. In severe forms of these conditions, clinically proven treatment is indicated.

Directions for use

For oral administration – Depending on the species and body weight, the daily dose is:

• Horses, cattle (over 500 kg): 10 tablets 2–3 times daily
• Horses, cattle (up to 500 kg): 6–8 tablets 2–3 times daily
• Pigs: 4 tablets 2–3 times a day
• Sheep, goats: 3–4 tablets 2–3 times daily
• Large dog (over 25 kg): 3 tablets 2–3 times a day
• Medium-sized dog (15–25 kg): 2 tablets 2–3 times a day
• Small dog (up to 15 kg), cat: 1 tablet 2–3 times a day

Frequency and duration of use:

• The frequency and duration of use are primarily determined by the principles of homeopathy and the clinical picture presented.
• For acute symptoms, initially administer the specified single dose every half hour to every hour for up to 2 hours, then continue with the standard dosage.
• If there is no improvement after 24 hours or if the condition worsens further, a vet should be consulted.
• For long-term treatment of chronic conditions, administer the single dose at intervals of 1 to 4 days.

• Other ingredients: lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate.
