The Nutri Store Artemisia Mugwort Extract Capsules are a food supplement containing 400 mg of high-quality Artemisia mugwort extract per vegan capsule, in a synergistic combination with vitamin C, vitamin D and zinc, which contribute to the normal functioning of the immune system. Vitamin C and zinc also help to protect cells from oxidative stress.

Artemisia (mugwort) is a herbaceous plant that grows wild in Europe, Asia and North Africa. In summer, it grows into man-high bushes with feathery leaves and inconspicuous flower heads. Artemisia was mentioned as long as 2,000 years ago by Dioscorides and Pliny, and was regarded in the Middle Ages as the ‘mother of all herbs’ (‘Mater herbarum’). As a spice, mugwort improves the digestibility of fatty meat dishes thanks to the bitter compounds it contains. It is also one of the herbs traditionally used to flavour beer (Grutbier herbs). The ‘Essence d’Armoise’ perfume oil is extracted from the dried plants by steam distillation.

The raw material used to manufacture the capsule shell is derived from plant-based cellulose and is gelatine-free.

Directions for use

Take 1 capsule daily with sufficient liquid, approximately 1 hour before a meal.
Notes: Not suitable for pregnant or breastfeeding women, or for anyone with an allergy to any of the ingredients. If you have existing heart, kidney and/or liver problems, you should only use Artemisia capsules after consulting your doctor. Do not take at the same time as iron supplements.
