The Nutri Store Artemisia Mugwort Extract Capsules is a dietary supplement containing 400 mg of high quality Artemisia Mugwort extract per vegan capsule in synergistic combination with vitamin C, vitamin D and zinc, which contribute to the normal function of the immune system. Vitamin C and zinc also help to protect the cells from oxidative stress.

Artemisia (mugwort) is a herbaceous plant that grows wild in Europe, Asia and North Africa. In summer, it grows into man-high bushes with pinnate leaves and inconspicuous flower heads. Artemisia was mentioned by Dioscorides and Pliny almost 2000 years ago and was considered the "mother of all herbs" ("Mater herbarum") in the Middle Ages. As a spice, mugwort increases the digestibility of fatty meat dishes due to the bitter substances it contains. It is also one of the herbs traditionally used to flavour beer (grub beer herbs). The "Essence d'Armoise" perfume oil is extracted from the dried plants by steam distillation.

The raw material used to produce the capsule shell is obtained from vegetable cellulose and is gelatine-free.

How to use

Take 1 capsule daily with sufficient liquid about 1 hour before a meal.
Advice: Not suitable for pregnant or breastfeeding women or if you are allergic to any of the ingredients. In case of existing heart, kidney and/or liver problems, Artemisia capsules should only be used after consultation with your doctor. Do not take at the same time as iron supplements.
