How can I use organic lavandin oil?
Organic lavandin oil is a hybrid of true lavender and spike lavender – with an extra-fresh aroma. It is therefore popular in aromatherapy for imparting a fresh, floral scent to clothing and living spaces. When added to the wash, just a few drops of organic lavandin oil in the final rinse cycle are enough to create a pleasant, enveloping scent. This traditional use also harnesses its well-known ability to keep moths largely out of the wardrobe. Organic lavandin oil can also be added to cleaning water, wall paint or soap. Similarly, the essential oil is a popular ingredient in cosmetics and perfumes.
Used as a room fragrance, organic lavandin oil creates a genuine sense of well-being. Its pleasant scent not only allows us to savour the moment, but can also lift our spirits – even when applied to the skin. For an invigorating aromatic skincare treatment, for example, you can mix 8–10 drops of TAOASIS Lavandin Oil Super with 50 ml of TAOASIS Almond Oil and massage it in gently – a true revitalising treatment for body and mind. When applying it to the skin, however, you should always ensure that organic lavandin oil is used only when well diluted and that it does not come into contact with the eyes or mucous membranes.
How does organic lavandin oil work?
In specialist aromatherapy literature, organic lavandin oil is mainly credited with having a stimulating and clarifying effect on the mind. In terms of its properties, lavandin oil is similar to true lavender, but differs significantly in that it has a less calming effect. Organic lavandin oil is therefore increasingly used to help maintain a clear head during difficult times. This allows everyday challenges to be tackled with the necessary mental clarity. Many customers also purchase organic lavandin oil as an affordable alternative to lavender oil.

- INCI Note: Essential oils are composed of a multitude of individual components. Substances such as limonene and linalool are completely natural components of the essential oil; they are not added. However, they are among the 26 allergenic fragrances subject to declaration and must therefore be listed separately, as some people may be allergic to individual ingredients. In the INCI, a ‘parfum’ refers to a blend of various essential oils when we wish to keep the exact composition a trade secret. All our products are free from synthetic substances!
- Organic/Demeter note: As we sell natural products, the availability of raw materials is subject to natural fluctuations. If, due to circumstances beyond our control, only a limited quantity of Demeter oil can be produced and this quantity sells out before the next harvest, we will, in these rare cases, supply an organic-quality alternative.
- Notes: Do not use essential oils undiluted. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.
