How can I use organic peppermint oil?

Organic peppermint oil should always be applied to the skin in diluted form and contact with eyes or mucous membranes should be avoided. For example, 8-10 drops of TAOASIS organic peppermint oil can be diluted with 50 ml almond oil and gently massaged into the skin for a soothing aroma treatment. For a peppermint compress, simply mix 2 drops of organic peppermint oil in a small bowl with cold water and ice cubes. Then soak a small towel in it, wring it out and place it either on the back of your neck or on your forehead. Organic peppermint oil also harmonises perfectly with benzoin siam, lemon, eucalyptus, lavender, rosemary and tea tree.

Peppermint oil as a room fragrance

As a room fragrance, peppermint oil provides esprit, freshness and clarity within your own four walls. It is therefore used especially in cases of mental exhaustion and overwork to give a feeling of a clear head and greater ability to concentrate. In general, there is evidence that the properties of organic peppermint oil can have a variety of effects in aromatherapy - above all, however, they are stimulating, concentration-enhancing and invigorating.

How does organic peppermint oil work?

In aromatherapy literature, organic peppermint oil is said to have one property in particular that differs from all other essences: It can have an effect on our temperature-sensitive nerves, which is noticeable after external application through a perceptible feeling of cold. Subsequently, its effect is felt due to the warming sensation. Many customers buy organic peppermint oil for sore muscles and insect bites and trust in the power of peppermint - a true all-rounder.

In the INCI, perfume is a composition of various essential oils, if we want to keep the exact composition a fragrance secret. All our products are free from synthetic substances!
