SymbioLact® pur sachets are a food supplement with biotin and lactic acid-producing bacteria. Biotin contributes to the maintenance of normal mucous membranes (e.g. intestinal mucosa).

SymbioLact® pure is a food supplement containing biotin and 2 different strains of lactic acid-producing bacteria. The bacteria contained in SymbioLact® pure are freeze-dried. As soon as they come into contact with water, they can absorb it, become active and multiply.

In addition to the lactic acid bacteria, SymbioLact® pur contains the vitamin biotin (30 μg per sachet). Biotin is a water-soluble vitamin and plays an important role in the metabolism of the body's cells. Very active tissues such as the body's mucous membranes in particular require biotin.

The intestinal mucosa is the largest mucous membrane in the body. It completely regenerates itself every 2 to 3 days. In order to be able to maintain this enormous metabolic performance in the long term, it is necessary that the body is well supplied with all the nutritional components.

The largest amount of biotin comes from the daily diet. Smaller amounts are produced by the intestinal flora and contribute to the total amount, thus supplementing the daily amount of biotin that is absorbed from food. An increased need for biotin can arise in particular when taking various medications, such as antibiotics.

• Biotin contributes to the maintenance of normal mucous membranes and normal skin. Our largest mucous membrane (intestinal mucosa) in particular, with a surface area of 400 to 600 m2, is dependent on an adequate supply of nutrients. Biotin contributes to normal energy metabolism and normal functioning of the nervous system.

SymbioLact® pure contains lactic acid bacteria from the upper [L. acidophilus (LA-5®)] and lower [Bifi dobacterium animalis subsp. lactis (BB-12®)] digestive tract.

• Pour the contents of one sachet into a glass 1-2 times a day, add still water, stir and drink with the main meal.
• Notes: Fruit juices are not suitable for the preparation of this drink. SymbioLact® pure is free from milk and soya protein, gluten and lactose and is therefore also suitable for people who suffer from milk intolerance or a milk allergy.

• Ingredients: Inulin, maltodextrin, lactic acid producing bacteria [Lactobacillus acidophilus (LA-5®), Bifi dobacterium animalis subsp. lactis (BB-12®)], anti-caking agent: silicon dioxide, biotin.
• Composition per serving: Contains a culture mixture of lactic acid-producing bacteria from Lactobacillus acidophilus (LA-5®) and Bifi dobacterium animalis subsp. lactis (BB-12®) with a total bacterial count of ≥ 1x1010 CFU (colony forming units) per gram.
