SymbioLact® Comp. contains highly concentrated lactic acid bacteria and biotin to care for the intestinal mucosa. Ideal for supporting healthy intestinal flora and a normal immune system. Easy to take in practical sachets.
It contains the vitamin biotin and lactic acid bacteria. SymbioLact® Comp. is used, for example, when there is an increased need for biotin. This can be the case during and after the intake of various medications, such as antibiotics.
SymbioLact® Comp. contains four different strains of lactic acid bacteria (see instructions for use). In Symbiolact® comp. they are freeze-dried. As soon as they come into contact with water, they absorb it and multiply.
The water-soluble vitamin biotin (also known as vitamin B7 or vitamin H) contained in SymbioLact® Comp. plays an important role in the metabolism of the body's cells and is important for the maintenance of our skin and mucous membranes. Our largest mucous membrane in particular - the intestinal mucosa - with a surface area of 400 to 600 square metres, is dependent on an adequate supply of nutrients. If this supply is disrupted, this can also have a negative effect on intestinal activity.
SymbioLact® Comp. contains neither lactose nor gluten and is therefore also suitable for patients who are sensitive to these substances.
Support for the entire intestinal tract
The food supplement SymbioLact® Comp. is suitable as a daily supplement to your diet. It contains lactic acid bacteria in high concentration and pure culture:
- Lactobacillus acidophilus
- Lactobacillus paracasei
- Lactococcus lactis
- Bifidobacterium lactis
The lactic acid bacteria contained in SymbioLact®Comp. include many different types of bacteria that break down carbohydrates without oxygen - i.e. anaerobically - to form lactic acid or lactate (lactic acid fermentation). Read more Close are among the representatives of the intestinal flora. The bacteria are in dried form and become active again as soon as they come into contact with water. As the name suggests, these bacteria produce lactic acid, which they make available to the body.
No histamine formation
As none of the bacterial strains in SymbioLact®Comp. produce histamine, the food supplement is also suitable for people with a histamine intolerance. For the study, the bacteria were cultivated under conditions that normally trigger histamine production. They were then analysed using gas chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry and the results were confirmed: None of the bacterial strains used produced histamine.
Biotin for the intestinal mucosa
The vitamin biotin is important for the metabolism of the body's cells. Very active tissues such as the mucous membranes in particular require biotin so that cell division processes can take place in a regulated manner. The intestinal mucosa is the largest mucous membrane in the body and is therefore central to our health, especially for the barrier function of the intestine. It regenerates completely every two to three days. In order to maintain the enormous metabolic performance, the body must be well supplied with all the nutritional components that are important for the formation of new tissue structures. SymbioLact® Comp. contains lactic acid-producing bacteria as well as biotin to maintain normal mucous membranes.
