Strepsils Orange Sugar Free contains flurbiprofen. Flurbiprofen is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) with analgesic, antipyretic and anti-inflammatory properties.
Strepsils Orange Sugar Free is used in adults and children aged 12 years and over for the short-term relief of symptoms of sore throat such as inflammation of the throat lining, pain and swelling, and difficulty swallowing.
Consult a doctor if the symptoms get worse or do not improve after 3 days.

Strepsils® is particularly recommended for the symptomatic relief of sore throats, for severe to very severe sore throats and for swollen and reddened throats. A sore throat is almost always accompanied by painful inflammation of the pharyngeal mucosa. This manifests itself in symptoms such as redness, swelling and difficulty swallowing. Strepsils® contains the active ingredient flurbiprofen. It not only has an analgesic effect, but also has an anti-inflammatory and therefore decongestant effect. Flurbiprofen is particularly suitable when antiseptics and local anaesthetics are no longer sufficient for quick and lasting relief of sore throats. The effect starts after just 30 minutes and lasts for up to 4 hours. Strepsils® sugar-free has a pleasant orange flavour and is sugar-free.

How to use
- Take 1 lozenge and allow it to dissolve slowly in the mouth.
- Move the lozenge around in the mouth while sucking.
- The lozenge should start to work within 30 minutes.
- Thereafter, if necessary, take 1 lozenge every 3 to 6 hours.
- Do not use more than 5 lozenges within 24 hours.

- The active substance is: flurbiprofen 8.75 mg.
- The other ingredients are: Macrogol 300, potassium hydroxide (E 525), orange flavouring, levomenthol, acesulfame potassium (E950), maltitol solution (E 965) and isomaltitol (E 953).
