The mud pillow for the neck and shoulders can be used as both a heat pack and a cold pack. Mud releases heat or cold very slowly into the surrounding environment and maintains its temperature for a long time. This physical property makes the mud cushion highly effective for treating back pain, muscle tension and lumbago. Because it releases heat slowly, the heat cushion stays warm for longer, allowing the heat to penetrate deeper into the skin. Stiff necks can also be treated exceptionally well with this deep heat. However, the mud pack can also be used for injuries such as sprains, swelling or bruises, where the affected areas need to be cooled. This medical product for local and external heat or cold therapy is an essential item in any medicine cabinet, as it promotes a greater sense of well-being and provides a soothing and comforting sensation.
For tension of any kind, the use of herbal massage fluid as well as the Universal Moor and Herbal Cream, with or without marmot fat, is recommended.
