Solgar® Coenzyme Q₁₀ Ubiquinol softgel capsules contain 100 mg of the bioactive coenzyme Q₁₀₀ in the form of ubiquinol. Ubiquinol is the reduced form of coenzyme Q₁₀₀ and is better absorbed and utilised by the body.

Olive oil as a natural source

Ubiquinol is the reduced version of coenzyme Q₁₀ (ubiquinone) and is involved in numerous processes in the body. It is found in organs and tissues that have a high energy requirement - such as the heart, liver, kidneys and muscles. You can absorb CoQ₁₀ through food and your body can also produce it itself. However, its function starts to decline from the age of 30. This happens naturally, so you can't prevent it. We use olive oil as a natural source for our coenzyme Q₁₀ ubiquinol to improve absorption. In addition, our product contains softgel capsules that are particularly easy to swallow.
