Siccasan Eye Gel is a product designed to support wound healing. Pantothenic acid is a water-soluble vitamin which, as coenzyme A, is involved in numerous metabolic processes. When applied topically, dexpanthenol can compensate for an increased requirement for pantothenic acid in damaged skin or mucous membranes.
Indications:
- Treatment of non-inflammatory corneal conditions, e.g. corneal dystrophies, corneal degeneration, recurrent corneal erosions and lesions in contact lens wearers
- Adjunctive treatment to support the healing process in cases of corneal and conjunctival damage, chemical burns and thermal burns
- Adjuvant (excipient) to a specific therapy for infectious corneal conditions of bacterial, viral or fungal origin

Usage
- To be instilled into the conjunctival sac.
- Always use Siccasan® eye gel exactly as described in this leaflet. Please check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not entirely sure. Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, the dosage must be followed.
Dosage:
- Adults: Apply 1 drop of gel to the conjunctival sac 3 to 5 times a day and before going to bed. Hold the tube vertically downwards when applying the drops. If you are also using other eye preparations, allow at least 15 minutes to pass between applying the different preparations. Siccasan® Eye Gel should always be applied last. Contact lenses should be removed before using Siccasan® Eye Gel and should not be reinserted until 15 minutes afterwards.
