Siccaforte® eye gel, 10 G

Siccaforte® Eye Gel is a clear, colourless, dripable eye gel that has similar properties to the tear fluid of the eye. Siccaforte® eye gel is therefore used as a substitute for tear fluid to symptomatically treat irritation of the eye caused by a lack of or insufficient tear production ("dry eyes"). Siccaforte® - Eye Gel prevents or reduces unpleasant dryness of the eye for up to 6 hours after instillation. This improves irritated, reddened eyes.

Siccaforte® eye gel is suitable for all symptoms of dry eye. It provides long-lasting relief for symptoms associated with mechanical stress:

• Environmental stress: sun, wind, cold, smoke, air conditioning and heating air
• Visual stress, e.g. due to intensive computer work
• Advanced age
• Therapies with antidepressants, anxiolytics, hormones and antihistamines

To be instilled into the conjunctival sac. Always use Siccaforte® - Eye Gel exactly as directed in this leaflet. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are unsure. Unless otherwise prescribed by a doctor, the dosage should be adhered to.

Dosage:

Adults:

• Drop 1 to 2 drops of gel into the conjunctival sac 2 to 4 times a day and before going to bed. Hold the tube vertically downwards when dripping. If other eye drops are also used, there should be at least a 5 - 10 minute interval between the application of the different products; if an eye ointment is also used, there should be a 15 minute interval.
• Siccaforte® eye gel can prolong the dwell time of other eye drops in the eye and thus increase their effect. To avoid this, Siccaforte® Eye Gel should always be applied last. Contact lenses should not be worn during treatment with Siccaforte® Eye Gel, as this could lead to incompatibility with the lens material.
