The seeds of the African black bean (Griffonia) mainly contain 5-hydroxytryptophan (5-HTP), which is the direct precursor of our "happiness hormone" serotonin. It also influences the sleep-wake rhythm. L-phenylalanine is also used to synthesise important neurotransmitters that have a positive effect on the stress response. Buckwheat germ powder is rich in valuable B vitamins, which support nerve metabolism. The activating extracts of rhodiola, red ginseng and maca increase stress tolerance and boost physical performance. Vitamin C, magnesium and zinc act as co-factors.
