Seewald Ortho Shiitake Extract Capsules offer you the concentrated power of the shiitake mushroom. The capsules contain a high proportion of beta-glucans, which are responsible for the many positive properties of shiitake mushrooms.

This food supplement contains valuable vitamin C, which contributes to the normal function of the immune system and energy metabolism. It also contributes to the reduction of tiredness and protects the cells from oxidative stress.

Shiitake (Lentinus edodes), the "king of mushrooms", is one of the best-known and most popular Asian edible mushrooms. Shiitake has also been used in traditional Chinese diets for thousands of years. It contains polysaccharides, lentinan and the alkaloid eritadenine as well as many other vital substances. Shiitake extract also contains vitamin C (Ester-C®) with its many properties, particularly as a contribution to the normal function of the immune system, normal energy metabolism, reducing tiredness and protecting cells from oxidative stress.

The special Ester-C® contains no free acid and is therefore considered to be better tolerated.
