SanFerin® tablets are a dietary supplement with mannose, yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae) beta-glucans, lactoferrin, lysozyme and zinc.

With its natural active ingredients lactoferrin, lysozyme, ß-glucan, mannose and zinc, SanFerin® supports the body in its defence against pathogens and strengthens the immune system without damaging the intestinal flora. The natural ingredients in SanFerin® are effective, free from side effects and help to strengthen the body's defences.

The body utilises two different systems to protect itself against infections: the innate and the learned immune system. The defences produced by the innate immune system include various substances such as lactoferrin and lysozyme. These are found in the skin and in all body fluids and make it clear that the innate immune system and the substances it contains play an important role in the defence against pathogenic germs throughout the body. Their effect against bacteria, viruses and fungi has also been researched and proven in numerous scientific studies.

Due to the composition of lactoferrin, lysozyme, ß-glucan and many more, SanFerin® tablets can be used for people who are prone to repeated or uncomplicated respiratory or urinary tract infections. Active ingredients

• Lactoferrin is a protein that occurs in the body, for example in high concentrations in breast milk. It is found throughout the entire organism and is therefore an important component of the innate immune system. Lactoferrin has an anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial and anti-viral effect. The lactoferrin contained in SanFerin® is obtained from cow's milk, but is nevertheless lactose-free.
• Lysozyme is an enzyme that is also present in the entire organism and is part of the innate immune system. Lysozyme performs the function of defence against bacteria and viruses in the body.
• ß-glucans are polysaccharides found in plants, foods and also in yeast. They have an immunomodulating and anti-inflammatory effect, have a positive effect on the intestinal microbiome and on lipid and glucose metabolism and lower cholesterol levels. ß-glucan also improves wound healing.
  
• Mannose is a naturally occurring sugar found in apples, peaches and berries such as cranberries and cranberries. Mannose supports the body in keeping the urinary tract healthy and helps to prevent lower urinary tract diseases, especially in the case of recurrent urinary tract infections and cystitis.
  
• Zinc is an essential trace element and helps to protect cells from oxidative stress. Zinc also contributes to the normal function of the immune system.

Directions for use

• Adults and children from the age of 10 should take 2 × 3 tablets for the first two days, then 2 x 2 tablets daily unchewed with plenty of liquid before or with a meal. The tablets should be taken over a period of at least 8-10 days and can be repeated (several times) if necessary.
• Notes: SanFerin® tablets are generally well tolerated, only people with a hen's egg allergy are advised not to take them, as lysozyme is obtained from hen's eggs. For this reason, children should not take SanFerin® tablets if a hen's egg allergy cannot be ruled out with certainty. Also suitable for pregnant and breastfeeding women! Not suitable as the sole source of nutrition! The specified daily dose must not be exceeded.
