SOLARVIT® Immune 1000 I.U. drops are a food supplement with vitamin D3, which contributes to the normal function of the immune system. The drops are easy to dose and can be taken by the whole family (from 1 year of age).

Vitamin D requirements

In Europe, the population often has a need for additional vitamin D. The fat-soluble vitamin D is not only essential for bone maintenance in adults and bone growth in children, but also makes a valuable contribution to maintaining a healthy immune system. It also supports the calcium balance and muscle function.

Vitamin D can be ingested through food or produced through sun exposure of the skin. A rule of thumb says: if the shadow is longer than the height of the body, there is almost no vitamin D production in the skin. The use of sunscreen (which is important to protect the skin from harmful UV-B rays) or clothing (which covers large parts of the body even in summer) reduces the production of vitamin D in the summer months. The skin's ability to synthesise vitamin D also decreases with age. This makes it all the more important to keep a close eye on your vitamin D levels.

Solarvit® Immune Drops are especially suitable for people who have difficulty swallowing capsules or tablets and can be taken by the whole family (children from the age of 1).

Safe daily intake for vitamin D

The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) sets the Tolerable Upper Intake Levels for vitamin D as follows:

Adults, including pregnant and breastfeeding women, and adolescents: 100 µg (equivalent to 4,000 IU)
Children aged 1-10: 50 µg (equivalent to 2,000 I.U.)

How to use

Instil 1 drop daily directly into the mouth or add to some liquid. Can be taken independently of meals. Regular dietary supplementation over a longer period of time is recommended.
Advice: Use in young children, pregnancy and breastfeeding after consulting a doctor or pharmacist . Use within 10 months after opening. 1 bottle contains approx. 360 drops. For production reasons, a small amount of liquid always remains in the bottle.
