DHEA 50 mg capsules from Regenbogen Apotheke are a dietary supplement containing dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA), a hormone that is produced naturally by the body.
DHEA (dehydroepiandrosterone) is a natural product and metabolic intermediate in the biosynthesis of the sex steroids androgen and oestrogen. It is an endogenous substance that is mainly produced in the inner layer of the adrenal cortex. However, DHEA production decreases dramatically with increasing age. For comparison: a 60-year-old person has only a fifth of the DHEA concentration of a young adult. Smoking, stress and obesity place an additional burden on DHEA levels. As the circulating DHEA concentration is associated with the ageing process, this prohormone has a reputation as a fountain of youth that can compensate for some of the side effects of increasing age. DHEA also strengthens the body's defences, supports resistance to stress and ensures a good mood.

- Adults: Take 1 x 1 capsule daily with liquid.
- Advice: If you regularly take medication or suffer from chronic illnesses, DHEA 20 mg capsules should only be taken after consulting a doctor. Not suitable for pregnant women or breastfeeding mothers.

- Ingredients: Filler: mannitol (may have a laxative effect if consumed in excess!); DHEA, anti-caking agent: magnesium salts of fatty acids, capsule shell: gelatine; colouring agent in the capsule shell: calcium carbonate.
