Protefix® adhesive pad upper jaw, 30 ST

Dentists recommend Protefix® adhesive pads for lower and upper dentures for relining in the resulting cavities, especially for special problem cases during the interim period.

The adhesive pads are made of fine, palate-friendly non-woven fabric that contains sodium alginate and additionally supports the adhesive force after brief moistening. The pads provide effective protection against pressure points and inflammation.

In addition to their importance for interim dentures, they have also proven their worth in cases of severe jaw recession - particularly in the lower jaw - if it is very narrow or severely flattened.

For wearers of full dentures with extreme adhesion problems, Protefix® adhesive pads are therefore often the last resort when nothing else will hold.

How to use

• Step 1: For small dentures, cut the pad to size with scissors, then immerse the pad in lukewarm water for 10 seconds and allow to drip off.
• Step 2: Place the pad on the moistened prosthesis, leaving the rear 2 mm uncovered. Press the pad on with both thumbs (starting in the centre) until it is smooth all over.

Bonding agent for dentures.

Important notes: Only use on healthy mucosa. For hygienic reasons, the Protefix® adhesive pad must be changed at least once a day. Do not use after the expiry date. Adhesive pads should only be used temporarily. Have the fit of your prosthesis checked regularly.

Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.

Side effects: In individual cases, hypersensitivity reactions to the oral mucosa or the entire organism cannot be ruled out. If a hypersensitivity reaction is suspected, please contact a doctor.

Notes: Only for full dentures. Not for partial dentures or combined dentures (cover dentures, telescopes, conical crowns, anchors, attachments, etc.).
