Prosfortil® capsules are a dietary supplement with a combination of horsetail extract, saw palmetto extract, willowherb powder, birch leaf extract, vitamin C and vitamin E.
Prosfortil® is a combination preparation with field horsetail extract, saw palmetto fruit extract, willowherb powder and birch leaf extract, supplemented with vitamins C and E. Horsetail and birch leaves are characterised by their strong flushing properties. The sabal fruits of the saw palmetto contain numerous free fatty acids, which rarely occur in this form in nature. These impair the conversion of testosterone into the hormone dihydrotestosterone (DHT), which drives the growth of the prostate. Willowherb is rich in flavonoids, in particular myricetin, phytosterols and ellagitannins, which favour the hormonal balance of the prostate. Vitamins E and C help to protect the cells from oxidative stress, which is also closely associated with dysfunctional changes in the prostate

Adults: Take 2 x 2 capsules daily with liquid.

- Ingredients: Horsetail extract; gelatine**; saw palmetto fruit extract (saw palmetto fruit, silicon dioxide), willowherb powder; bulking agent: mannitol***; ascorbic acid, birch leaf extract, alpha-tocopherol acetate **capsule shell ***may have a laxative effect if consumed in excess!
- Composition per daily dose (4 capsules) %NRV*: 400 mg horsetail extract, 360 mg saw palmetto extract, 320 mg willowherb powder, 80 mg vitamin C (100 % NRV*), 60 mg birch leaf extract and 13.4 mg vitamin E (111 % NRV*) as α-tocopherol acetate. *NRV = per cent of the recommended daily intake.
