Prosfortil® Plus capsules are a dietary supplement with a combination of willowherb powder, saw palmetto extract, vitamin C, vitamin E and lycopene.

As small as a golf ball and weighing only 20 grams - the prostate is often barely noticed by men. Yet this small glandular organ, which sits directly under the bladder, plays a decisive role in fertility, sexual behaviour and urinary function. In some men, however, the prostate continues to grow with increasing age and can lead to a frequent urge to urinate and difficulties urinating. Prosfortil® Plus capsules are a combination preparation of willowherb powder, saw palmetto fruit extract and the carotenoid lycopene, supplemented with vitamins C and E. Willowherb is rich in flavonoids, especially myricetin, phytosterols and ellagitannins, which favour the hormonal balance of the prostate. The sabal fruits of the saw palmetto provide numerous free fatty acids, which are rarely found in this form in nature.

These inhibit the conversion of testosterone into the hormone dihydrotestosterone (DHT), which promotes the growth of the prostate. Lycopene accumulates specifically in the prostate and restricts the growth of fast-growing, harmful cells there. Vitamins E and C help to protect the cells from oxidative stress, which is also closely associated with dysfunctional changes in the prostate.

• Ingredients: Willowherb powder; gelatine**; saw palmetto fruit extract (saw palmetto fruit, silicon dioxide), lycopene (lycopene, alginate, Arabic gum, amylodextrin), ascorbic acid, alpha-tocopherol acetate **capsule shell.
• Composition per daily dose (4 capsules) %NRV*: 560 mg willowherb powder, 360 mg saw palmetto extract, 80 mg vitamin C (100 % NRV*), 13.4 mg vitamin E (111 % NRV*) and 8 mg lycopene *NRV = per cent of the recommended daily intake.
