Pro-ophta® Junior Mini eye occlusion plasters 5.4 x 6.5 cm, 50 ST

Pro-ophta® Junior occlusion plasters are used for opaque covering of the eye during occlusion therapy for strabismus and amblyopia. The thin, supple material of the Pro-ophta® Junior occlusion plasters is suitable for sensitive skin and can be removed easily without leaving any residue.

The plasters are tailored to children's sensitive skin around the eye. The adhesive is applied in strips to a wafer-thin non-woven fabric. This means that even frequent plaster changes do not cause any problems and plenty of air can reach the eye. There is a cotton core in the centre that completely covers the eye. The specially tailored fit for children - in two sizes - ensures that the plaster fits very well, even under glasses. Pro-ophta Junior can be labelled with various child-friendly motifs - an additional motivation for young patients to undergo therapy.

How to use

Before applying the occlusion plaster, please ensure that the patient's skin is clean, dry, free of creams and ointments and that any wounds are covered

1. Cut through the masking paper at the intended perforated area. Remove the backing paper from the plaster.
2. Place the plaster with the longest edge over the closed eye.
3. Place the opaque grey area directly in front of the eye, leaving the eyelid free to move.
4. Press the plaster firmly onto the skin around the eye.
5. If desired, you can now decorate the occlusion plaster with the stickers provided.
