Soothes the skin overnight

Skin prone to couperose, rosacea and redness usually appears mainly on the face. Those affected suffer from visible redness and the associated stigmatisation.

While we sleep, our skin is particularly active and many natural regeneration processes take place. This valuable phase of night-time recovery can be specifically supported with a suitable night cream.

PHYSIOGEL® Calming Relief Anti-Redness Night Cream was specially developed for the night-time care of sensitive skin prone to redness and soothes the skin immediately and for a long time. Redness is reduced overnight and the skin is intensively moisturised.

It also contains the active complex Endothelyol®, which prevents new redness, reduces the formation of new blood vessels and inhibits inflammatory messengers^.1

Active ingredients

• Endothelyol® has an anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effect. The active complex is made up of three modified ingredients of natural origin: Rosemary, green coffee and oak leaves. They have been clinically proven to reduce the release of messenger substances that are involved in the development of rosacea.
• Ceramides form a natural barrier between and with the uppermost skin cells, which protects the skin from drying out and harmful external influences. Skin-related ceramides in our skincare products are optimally integrated into this natural skin barrier, helping it to regenerate and moisturise the skin.
• Squalene is produced by the sebaceous gland and is a component of the skin's own lipid film, which maintains skin moisture and fulfils an important barrier function. As squalene itself is not long-lasting, it is replaced by squalane in skin care products. Squalane for cosmetic use is mainly obtained from plant sources.

The BioMimetic technology

PHYSIOGEL® Calming Relief Anti-Redness Night Cream and many of our other skincare products have been developed using the proven BioMimetic technology. It is modelled on the natural structure of skin lipids/oils. In our epidermis, three types of lipids (ceramides, free fatty acids, cholesterol) form neatly stacked lamellae that surround the horny cells - and only in this structure can our skin barrier fulfil its important functions. In our skincare, we use lipids that correspond to those of the skin, also form lamellae and can therefore fit perfectly into our skin's own lipid lamellae - we give the skin back what it lacks. The result is a rebalanced skin and a strong skin barrier that protects us from the environment and traps moisture in the skin. Only in this way can our skin be radiant, elastic and healthy.
