Skin that is prone to couperose, rosacea and redness usually appears mainly on the face. Those affected suffer from visible redness and the associated stigmatisation. The ability to conceal redness can help people to feel more comfortable in their own skin again. PHYSIOGEL® Calming Relief Anti-Redness Tinted Day Cream SPF30 is perfect for this. The tinted day cream conceals existing redness with additional skin-friendly mineral pigments, which are particularly recommended for skin prone to couperose, rosacea and redness. In other words, skincare and make-up alternative in one - ideal if you need to apply it quickly in the morning, for example. The tinted day cream provides the skin with long-lasting moisture, strengthens its natural protective barrier with skin-like lipids (fats) and protects it from UVA and UVB radiation. It also contains the active complex Endothelyol®, which prevents new redness, reduces the formation of new blood vessels and inhibits inflammatory messengers^.1

Main ingredients to strengthen the skin barrier

• Endothelyol® has an anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effect. The active complex is made up of three modified ingredients of natural origin: Rosemary, green coffee and oak leaves. They have been clinically proven to reduce the release of messenger substances that are involved in the development of rosacea.
• Ceramides form a natural barrier between and with the uppermost skin cells, which protects the skin from drying out and harmful external influences. Skin-related ceramides in our skincare products are optimally integrated into this natural skin barrier, helping it to regenerate and moisturise the skin.
• Squalene is produced by the sebaceous gland and is a component of the skin's own lipid film, which maintains skin moisture and fulfils an important barrier function. As squalene itself is not long-lasting, it is replaced by squalane in skin care products. Squalane for cosmetic use is mainly obtained from plant sources.

The BioMimetic technology

It imitates the lamellar structure of the skin and contains skin-related lipids. The skin-lipid barrier is clinically proven to be regenerated and strengthened, so that important moisture remains in the skin and the penetration of harmful irritants is made more difficult.
