For sensitive skin prone to neurodermatitis, conventional cleansing can put additional strain on the weakened skin barrier and exacerbate symptoms such as itching and redness. Calming Relief A.I. Shower Oil has been specially developed to gently cleanse and intensively nourish the skin while showering or bathing. It contains a skin-soothing complex of essential lipids and the soothing active ingredient PEA (palmitoylethanolamine), which relieves itching and inhibits inflammation. The skin is soothed and itching, redness and skin irritation are reduced. After application, the skin feels pleasantly soft and smooth - almost like freshly applied cream. The skin is moisturised and protected from drying out again. The shower and bath oil has been tested on adults and children!

Active ingredients

• Palmitoylethanolamide (PEA) is a naturally occurring lipid mediator in all body cells. PEA is formed in response to harmful stimuli and then has a cell-protecting, analgesic and anti-inflammatory effect. In our products, PEA helps to reduce itching and redness.
• Bisabolol is an active ingredient that is primarily known for its anti-inflammatory, soothing, skin-regenerating and antibacterial properties. It is often used in cosmetics and skincare products for sensitive or irritated skin as it soothes irritation, moisturises and supports skin renewal.
• Squalene is produced by the sebaceous glands and is a component of the skin's own lipid film, which maintains skin moisture and acts as an important barrier. As squalene itself is not long-lasting, it is replaced in skin care products by the hydrogenated/stabilised form squalane. In cosmetics, it acts as a moisturiser, soothes the skin and makes it soft and supple.
