Healthy bones, teeth, muscles and a strong immune system need magnesium, which can be absorbed through food, orally or through the skin. Physical exertion increases the daily magnesium requirement. Zechstein magnesium, extracted from a depth of 1,800 metres in northern Central Europe, is very pure and of high quality. This watery solution feels oily on the skin. The three skin layers have specific tasks. The epidermis constantly renews itself. The dermis is permeated with blood vessels and nerves, provides firmness and is connected to the connective tissue, bones and muscles. The fat and water reservoir of the hypodermis protects against cold and mechanical stress. The lymph channels, sweat glands, scent glands, sebaceous glands and hair roots are located in the dermis and hypodermis. Substances that can penetrate all three skin layers have a diverse influence on the various layers of skin and tissue, allowing the desired compounds of substances to penetrate under the skin.
