Pantothen Ointment 5% is a wound and healing ointment for many applications. Dexpanthenol stimulates skin formation and is therefore used wherever the skin is injured and needs to regenerate quickly and effectively.

Pantothen Pharmaselect 5% Ointment belongs to a group of medicines known as wound treatment products . The active ingredient dexpanthenol contained in Pantothen Pharmaselect 5% Ointment is rapidly converted into pantothenic acid in the cells of the body. Pantothenic acid is necessary for the development of skin and mucous membranes.

Pantothen Pharmaselect 5% Ointment is used for the external treatment of wounds and inflammations of the skin and mucous membranes, such as

Sunburn, minor skin injuries, abrasions, anal fissures (cracks on the anus), burns, to promote tissue growth after burns;
for the prevention and treatment of sore nipples;
in infant care to prevent and heal sores; to support skin damage (to prevent and treat radiation damage, e.g. X-rays), skin transplants, bedsores, chronic skin ulcers, mucosal defects on the cervix.

How to use

If necessary, apply a thin layer of ointment to the skin several times a day and rub in well.

Ingredients

The active ingredient is: dexpanthenol. 1 g ointment contains 50 mg dexpanthenol.

1 cm of ointment in the 30g or 130g pack contains 13mg or 18mg dexpanthenol.

The other ingredients are: p-hydroxybenzoic acid methyl ester, buthylhydroxytoluene, white vaseline, cera alba, lanolin, cetylstearyl alcohol, refined peanut oil, hydrogenated peanut oil, paraffin solidum, paraffinum liquidum, wool wax alcohols, Imwitor 780K, cetiol V, purified water.
