- Highly adapted microorganisms, so-called extremophiles, defy the aridity. The natural substance ectoine is responsible for this.
- This small protective molecule protects these extremophiles from temperature fluctuations, high salt concentrations, strong UV radiation or dehydration, for example.
- Ectoine forms a layer of water on the mucous membranes, the so-called ectoine-hydro complex. This protects the mucous membrane and prevents it from drying out.
- PARI ProtECT® Inhalation Solution protects against dehydration and moisturises the mucous membranes of the airways when they are exposed to e.g. fine dust, pollen, dirt or dry air in heated or air-conditioned rooms.
- PARI ProtECT® inhalation solution can be used as a supportive treatment to reduce inflammation in respiratory diseases such as bronchitis, allergic asthma or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
Dosage form
How to use
- Always use PARI ProtECT® Inhalation Solution according to these instructions for use or consult your doctor or pharmacist before use. Unless otherwise prescribed by your healthcare professional, inhale 1 ampoule (2.5 ml) up to twice a day as required using a nebuliser. PARI ProtECT® Inhalation Solution can be used without age restriction when used as directed.
- Method of application: Inhalation with jet nebulisers (e.g. PARI inhalation devices), ultrasound, or membrane nebulisers (e.g. Velox/Velox Junior). Follow the instructions for use of the respective nebuliser.
