- Highly adapted microorganisms, so-called extremophiles, can withstand extreme environmental conditions. Ectoine is responsible for this.
- This small protective molecule protects the extremophiles from temperature fluctuations, high salt concentrations, strong UV radiation or dehydration, for example.
- When used, ectoine forms the so-called ectoine hydrocomplex, which covers the mucous membrane of the respiratory tract like a protective shield. Inflammation is inhibited and the regeneration process is supported.

How to use
- MucoClear Protect® can be used with any nebuliser. Follow the instructions for use of the device manufacturer.
- Inhalation therapy with MucoClear Protect® is usually used with a dosage of 5 ml (one ampoule). Use MucoClear Protect® after consulting your healthcare professional.
