Orthomol chondroplus is a dietary supplement with important nutrients to support cartilage and bone function.

- Cartilage is a component of the joint, the movable connection between two bones. The cartilage matrix consists of various substances, such as glucosamine and chondroitin sulphate, hyaluronic acid and collagen, can store water and thus acts as a shock absorber. This constant and often very high stress demands a lot from the joint cartilage. To maintain our mobility, it is therefore very important to support its health as much as possible with exercise and an optimal supply of nutrients.
Nutrients for cartilage and bones
- A variety of nutrients help to keep our musculoskeletal system of cartilage, muscles and bones healthy and mobile. These include vitamins, minerals and trace elements, as well as secondary plant substances, essential fatty acids and protein building blocks. A balanced diet is important in order to be supplied with all these cartilage and bone-active nutrients. In addition, Orthomol chondroplus with its proven cartilage-active complex helps to optimise the supply.
- Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for normal cartilage and bone function. Vitamin D, vitamin K, vitamin C, magnesium, manganese and zinc contribute to the maintenance of normal bones. Calcium is required for the maintenance of normal bones. Vitamin D contributes to the normal absorption/utilisation of calcium. Vitamin D, calcium and magnesium contribute to the maintenance of normal muscle function. Manganese contributes to normal connective tissue formation. Copper contributes to the maintenance of normal connective tissue.

Directions
- Stir the contents of one sachet into 150 - 200 ml of still water daily and take with or after a meal together with the capsules.
- Duration of use: Micronutrients are needed daily by the body, so regular use over a longer period of time is recommended.
- Note: Due to the riboflavin (vitamin B2) content, the urine may turn yellow. The product contains, among other things, strongly colouring beta-carotene. Any stains that may occur, e.g. on clothing, are difficult to remove. In individual cases, the fish oil (omega-3 fatty acids) contained in the capsules may cause slight belching. To avoid burping, you can take the capsules before going to bed.
