Orthomol Magnesium Plus capsules are a dietary supplement. It contains magnesium as a contribution to normal muscle function and superoxide dismutase from melon fruit juice concentrate.

Magnesium contributes to electrolyte balance, normal energy metabolism, normal function of the nervous system, normal protein synthesis and a reduction in tiredness and fatigue.

The plus in Orthomol Magnesium Plus is superoxide dismutase (SOD). It is an enzyme that occurs in almost all cells in our body. Together, magnesium and superoxide dismutase form a power team. Magnesium contributes to normal muscle function and muscle regeneration.

The cantaloupe melon (Cucumis melo) was cultivated in Iran around 5000 years ago and then came to Europe via the eastern Mediterranean, taking its name from the town of Cantalupo north of Rome. Cantaloupe melon contains the enzyme superoxide dismutase.

How to use

Take 1-2 capsules daily, preferably with plenty of liquid, with or after a meal. If required, the capsules can be opened and the contents sprinkled over or stirred into food (cold and lukewarm dishes), for example.

Ingredients: Magnesium citrate, magnesium oxide, coating agent hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, melon fruit juice concentrate containing superoxide dismutase (from Cucumis melo) (1.3 %), palm oil.
Composition 1 capsule of 0.66 g %RM*: Magnesium 150 mg 40, superoxide dismutase (from melon fruit juice concentrate) 140 IU*** **. RM = reference quantity according to EU Regulation 1169/2011, ** no reference quantity available, *** IU = international units.
