Opraclean® gauze bandage for tamponade with iodoform is a medical device used for haemostasis and wound cleansing. It contains iodoform as an antiseptic active ingredient.

Opraclean dressings aid wound cleansing by absorbing wound exudates and cellular debris. Wound pockets and cavities can be packed with Opraclean. Furthermore, the iodoform-impregnated dressings have an antiseptic effect*. In a moist environment, iodoform decomposes and continuously releases small amounts of iodine from the dressing. Indications

Opraclean dressings (gauze bandage for tamponade with iodoform, gauze pad with iodoform) are used following surgical debridement of:

• abscesses
• Fistula-associated abscesses
• Ulcers
• Wound cavities and body cavities are used
