Directions for use
- The recommended dose for adults is one drop in each affected eye once daily.
- Duration of use: This medicine can be used for up to 8 weeks. Your doctor will decide and advise you how long to use it according to your condition.
- Route of administration: For use on the eye only. To avoid contamination of this medicine during use, do not touch any surfaces (eyelids, surrounding areas of the eye or other surfaces) with the dropper tip and clean the tip of the applicator with a clean cloth after use to remove any residual liquid.
- Always wash your hands and dry them with a clean towel before using this medicine.
- In case of encrusted discharge, gently clean the eyelids by wiping from the inner to the outer corner of the eye with a cotton pad moistened with warm water while the eye is closed.
- Open the bottle and avoid touching the dropper tip with your eye or anything else - eye drops and droppers must be kept clean.
- Lean your head back or lie down and look upwards. Gently pull the lower eyelid downwards with your finger.
- Look upwards and squeeze out a drop into the eye.
- Release the lower eyelid and keep the eye closed for some time to spread the drop over the surface of the eye.
- Repeat the above procedure for the other eye if necessary.
Ingredients
- What Olisir contains - The active ingredient is bilastine (6 mg/ml). One drop contains 0.2 mg bilastine.
- The other ingredients are hydroxypropyl betadex, methylcellulose, sodium hyaluronate, glycerol (E 422), sodium hydroxide 1 N (for pH adjustment), water for injection.
