Whether in the shower, swimming pool, lake or sea: splashing and swimming is fun! But amateur splashers or competitive swimmers often suffer from water in their ears after swimming.

The solution --> OHROPAX® AQUA, the earplug especially for swimming.

Almost everyone knows it: Water in the ear, which can be accompanied by cracking, annoying pressure and a numb feeling. This is very unpleasant. However, water in the ear can also lead to a very annoying and painful inflammation of the external auditory canal. This is triggered by germs that enter the ear with the water when swimming in the sea or lake, for example. Fungi and bacteria thrive in the warm and moist environment of the narrow ear canal. Pain and/or itching soon set in and, in the worst case, can develop into an inflammation of the middle ear.

We therefore recommend using OHROPAX® AQUA to keep water away from the ear canal and to be able to go swimming without worrying. The light blue silicone earplugs are waterproof and very easy to mould. The skin-friendly silicone moulds to each ear and keeps them dry. The tight seal also keeps out disturbing noise and wind.

Areas of application

OHROPAX® Silicone AQUA is particularly suitable for protecting against water ingress when swimming and bathing. Thanks to its tight seal and high level of comfort, OHROPAX® Silicon AQUA is also ideal for protecting against noise and sounds, e.g. when sleeping and relaxing.
OHROPAX® Silicon AQUA is suitable for many workplaces, especially in non-traditional noise areas such as open-plan offices and computer centres (noise level <75 dB (A)). Due to the material, OHROPAX® Silicon AQUA is not suitable for workplaces exposed to dirt and dust.

Silicone earplugs

Application

BEFORE-ear plugs (placed in front of the opening of the ear canal).
Soften the earplug by kneading it vigorously and mould it into a ball (not an elongated shape!). Do not reduce the size of the earplug!
Place the ball in front of the opening of the ear canal and close it tightly by pressing gently. Do not insert into the ear canal!
Removal: Slowly remove the earplug in one piece with your fingers. The earplug can be loosened beforehand by applying light pressure to the back of the pinna. If you have long fingernails, take care not to damage the earplug.
