Who is OMNi-BiOTiC SKiN® Intensive Skin Bath suitable for?

Our skin is a very large and complex organ: every square centimetre is home to up to one million bacteria, fungi and mites. Together, these beneficial microorganisms form our skin microbiome and are extremely important for our skin's barrier function and immune system.

Various skin conditions such as atopic dermatitis are often associated with a change in the skin microbiome, where the natural diversity of microorganisms on the skin is disturbed. This makes it easier for harmful skin germs such as Staphylococcus aureus to spread. This can lead to the symptoms of atopic dermatitis such as dry skin and severe itching being exacerbated.

OMNi-BiOTiC SKiN® Intensive Skin Bath can counteract this and noticeably improve the stressed condition of the skin through the targeted improvement of the skin microbiome.

How does OMNi-BiOTiC SKiN® Intensive Skin Bath work?

With neurodermatitis, the diversity of beneficial organisms in our skin microbiome is reduced - there is an imbalance (= dysbiosis). This change makes it easier for pathogens to spread. Staphylococcus aureus, among others, plays a major role in the progression of atopic dermatitis, as it acts as a trigger for inflammation and can massively worsen the skin condition.

OMNi-BiOTiC SKiN® Intensive Skin Bath contains the patented bacterial complex Baplexin® 621 - a unique combination of 9 active, specially selected and scientifically researched probiotic bacterial strains.

These active probiotic skin inhabitants naturally supplement the skin microbiome, gently displace pathogens and restore its balance - the skin is actively nourished and the skin barrier can regenerate. After just a few days, the appearance of the skin improves and itching is significantly alleviated.

OMNi-BiOTiC SKiN® Intensive Skin Bath contains only purely natural ingredients and is free from fragrances and preservatives, making it particularly suitable for very stressed and irritated skin. The active probiotic bacteria support the skin exactly where it needs help through targeted application as a partial bath or by means of a compress.

How to use

• In the acute phase: treat the affected areas of skin in a partial bath once a day for 10 minutes for 14 days. Stir in 2.5 g (= 1 measuring spoon) of powder per litre of water. A full bath is also possible for small children.
• Suitable for people with sensitive skin and skin prone to neurodermatitis from infancy to old age.
  
• For basic care: If required, treat the affected areas of skin in a partial bath for 10 minutes once or twice a week. Stir in 2.5 g (= 1 measuring spoon) of powder per litre of water. A full bath is also possible for small children.
• If the skin area is not suitable for a partial bath, you can soak a clean cloth, a soft flannel or a small towel in the solution and place it on the affected area.
• After application: Allow the skin to air dry and do not rinse off the solution. 20 to 30 minutes after application, you can apply a cortisone-free skin care cream, such as OMNi-BiOTiC SKiN® Intensive Care Ointment. We recommend showering after 8 hours at the earliest, as otherwise the beneficial bacteria from the skin bath will be washed off again and will not colonise.
• Important note: Can also be used in combination with all common anti-inflammatory local therapies. Open the lid carefully so that the powder does not get into the eyes or spread uncontrollably.
