Who is OMNi-BiOTiC SKiN® Intensive Care Ointment designed for?

Healthy skin is densely colonised by countless organisms that coexist peacefully within a complex ecosystem: alongside over 1,000 different species of bacteria, the inhabitants also include fungi and mites.

A balanced colonisation by these microbes protects us from pathogens on the skin and supports the immune system and many other functions of this vital barrier. Why does OMNi-BiOTiC SKiN® Intensive Care Ointment work?

In atopic dermatitis, the diversity of beneficial bacterial strains on the skin is reduced and there is an imbalance between the different bacterial species (= dysbiosis). This makes it easier for pathogens such as Staphylococcus aureus to spread and damage the affected skin (barrier), which often leads to inflammation and severe itching.

OMNi-BiOTiC SKiN® Intensive Care Ointment contains the patented bacterial complex Baplexin® 621 – a unique combination of 9 active, specially selected and scientifically researched bacterial strains.

These active probiotic skin inhabitants naturally replenish the skin’s microbiome, displace pathogens and restore the skin’s flora to balance – actively regenerating and nourishing the skin. After just a few days, the skin’s appearance improves and itching is significantly relieved.

OMNi-BiOTiC SKiN® Intensive Care Ointment contains only purely natural ingredients and is free from fragrances and preservatives, making it particularly suitable for very stressed and sensitive skin. Directions for use

• During the acute phase: apply 2 to 3 times daily for 14 days to the areas of skin affected by atopic dermatitis.
• Suitable for people with sensitive skin or skin prone to atopic dermatitis, as well as for infants aged 3 months and over, children and adults.
  
• For basic skincare and in cases of mild skin irritation: Apply to the affected areas once a day as required. OMNi-BiOTiC SKiN® Intensive Care Ointment is suitable for long-term use.
• After application: Allow the ointment to be absorbed and do not rinse it off. We recommend waiting at least 8 hours before showering, as otherwise the beneficial bacteria will be washed away before they have had a chance to colonise the skin. The ointment can be combined at any time with the OMNi-BiOTiC SKiN® Intensive Skin Bath to protect and care for heavily stressed skin and skin affected by atopic dermatitis.
• Important information: Can also be used alongside other treatments and combined with all standard anti-inflammatory topical treatments. When applying, take care to ensure that the ointment does not get into the eyes.
  
• Tip: OMNi-BiOTiC SKiN® Intensive Care Ointment can be used as an ideal supplement – for particularly affected areas of skin – even immediately after the OMNi-BiOTiC SKiN® Intensive Skin Bath .
