- Many parents know that antibiotics should only be taken when absolutely necessary: as rarely as possible, but always when necessary. This is because antibiotics not only destroy foreign germs, but also entire strains of the "good" bacteria in our intestines.
- The body's defences develop in the first few years of life, as the young immune system first has to learn to distinguish between "friend" and "foe". Through contact with many different viruses and germs - for example in kindergarten or school - our defence system learns how to deal with them. How well the body manages this depends on the composition of the intestinal flora.
- Because the intestinal flora is also still developing in childhood, it is important to replenish it during and after antibiotics - in the form of bacteria naturally occurring in the human intestine.
- The 2.5 g sachets contain the exact amount of bacteria that is ideal for young children - making dosing easier for parents.
- In addition to the bacteria, the formulation contains as few ingredients as possible and is therefore optimised for children.
- The taste of OMNi-BiOTiC® 10 AAD Kids is neutral - so the product can simply be stirred into a little water, (diluted) fruit juice, milk, yoghurt, muesli or similar, depending on the child's preferences.
Dosage form
Directions for use
- stir 1 sachet of OMNi-BiOTiC® 10 AAD Kids (= 2.5 g) into a little water, (diluted) fruit juice, milk, yoghurt, muesli or similar, wait at least 1 minute for activation, stir again and then drink. It is recommended to take it on an empty stomach, e.g. before breakfast and/or before dinner.
- (Small) children up to 3 years: 1 sachet twice daily during the entire antibiotic therapy and then once daily for 10-14 days.
- Children from 3-6 years: 2 x 1-2 sachets daily during the entire antibiotic therapy and then 1 x 1-2 sachets daily for 10-14 days.
- Ideally, there should be an interval of at least 1 hour between taking OMNi-BiOTiC® 10 AAD Kids and the antibiotic.
- Note: If fructose intolerance is known, you should extend the activation time of OMNi-BiOTiC® 10 AAD Kids to 30 minutes. During this time, the bacteria metabolise their food (= fructooligosaccharides, inulin etc.) almost completely, so that at most individual molecules of these substances enter the intestine. Suitable for diabetics, milk allergy sufferers, children, pregnancy / breastfeeding
