OKUZELL® lipid eye spray for use on slightly to severely dry eyes. Lipids and hyaluronic acid supply the tear film with lipids and moisturise. Free from preservatives.
Liposomal eye spray with 0.1 % hyaluronic acid
Actually paradoxical: the eyes feel dry and sting. It is as if there is too little tear fluid. Nevertheless, many sufferers complain of watery eyes at the same time.
Around eighty per cent of all patients with "dry eye" or sicca syndrome do not actually have a primary lack of tear fluid. The problem is that the fatty lipid layer of the tear film is disturbed and unstable. The watery tear layer then evaporates quickly, resulting in this feeling of dry eyes, even though there would actually be plenty of tear fluid.
Okuzell lipid eye spray supplies the lipid layer with the missing lipids. This is done with the help of liposomes, those tiny little fat globules that are also used in cosmetics as an ideal means of transport for active ingredients. They are filled with liquid on the inside and reduce the evaporation of the tear film so that it remains intact. Hyaluronic acid also provides the eyes with long-lasting moisture. This special combination quickly alleviates the symptoms of dry and watery eyes.
Okuzell lipid eye spray is sprayed onto the closed eye and is ideal for children, contact lens wearers and anyone who has difficulty dropping it into the eye. There is no impairment of vision. Stable for 6 months after opening.
