Nurofen® 24-Hour Pain Relief Plaster is a medicated plaster containing 200 mg of ibuprofen per plaster (medicinal product).
The active ingredient is ibuprofen. Ibuprofen belongs to a group of medicines known as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). These medicines affect the body’s response to pain, swelling and fever. The medicated plaster continuously releases ibuprofen at the site of pain throughout the 24-hour period of use.
Nurofen 24-Hour Pain Relief Plaster is used in adults and young people aged 16 and over for the short-term, symptomatic treatment of:
- localised pain caused by acute muscle strains
- near the joints of sprained limbs following blunt trauma.
Effective and long-lasting pain relief!
Acute pain in the musculoskeletal system, such as muscle or joint pain, or pain in the shoulder and neck area caused by strains or sprains: the new Nurofen 24-Hour Pain Relief Patch 200 mg provides effective and long-lasting pain relief. Its unique fabric structure ensures the continuous release of the tried-and-tested active ingredient ibuprofen, so that the pain-relieving effect lasts round the clock.
The patch is applied directly to the painful area and, thanks to its ultra-flexibility, is very comfortable and discreet to wear. With effective pain relief, nothing stands in the way of your everyday activities – whether it’s work, gardening, hiking with friends or playing with the grandchildren. As the active ingredient is absorbed locally, the Nurofen 24-Hour Pain Relief Patch places virtually no strain on other parts of the body, such as the stomach. The patch has been proven to be well tolerated. A single daily application is sufficient for adults and teenagers.
