Novalac Allernova AR, 400 G

Novalac Allernova AR is a food for special health purposes for the dietary management of newborns and babies with an allergy to cow's milk protein and regurgitation.

Novalac Allernova AR can be used as the sole food up to 6 months of age. After 6 months of age, Novalac Allernova AR infant formula can be used as part of a mixed diet. Novalac Allernova AR is a thickening formula, a product made from hydrolysed cow's milk (casein). It is lactose-free.

Allergy to cow's milk protein

• Allergy to cow's milk protein develops in the first few months of life. Symptoms of the allergy are noticeable in all organic systems, in the first year especially in the digestive organs and the skin. The most common symptom affecting the digestive organs is regurgitation. The treatment of hypersensitivity to cow's milk protein is based on the complete exclusion of cow's milk protein from the baby's diet. A thickening infant formula is introduced to reduce regurgitation.

Novalac Allernova AR - a suitable solution for babies with allergy to cow's milk protein and regurgitation is the introduction of a food for special health purposes. Novalac Allernova AR, extensive casein hydrolisate with added corn starch, is the only such dual action formula on the market: relieves symptoms of allergy to cow's milk protein and reduces regurgitation.

Novalac Allernova AR contains all the necessary nutrients for healthy growth and development of the child. It is lactose-free.

Only use Novalac Allernova AR under medical supervision. Novalac Allernova AR must not be used as food for healthy babies. The use of Novalac Allernova AR is contraindicated in cases of galactosaemia and/or malabsorption of glucose and galactose.

Directions for use

One level measuring spoon enclosed contains 4.3 g Novalac Allernova AR. Dissolve one measuring spoon in 30 ml of water.

Preparation of Novalac

1. WASH HANDS THOROUGHLY BEFORE PREPARATION.
2. Clean bottle and soother and sterilise in boiling water for 5 minutes.
3. Boil fresh tap water for 5 minutes.
4. Cool the water to 40 °C and pour into the bottle.
5. Add the required number of measuring spoons.
6. Close the baby bottle with the plastic lid and shake until the powder is completely dissolved in the water.
7. Check the temperature (37 °C) on the inside of the wrist.
