Vitamin D is extremely important for healthy bones and a strong immune system. You should therefore always keep a close eye on your vitamin D supply. This can be achieved on the one hand through certain foods and on the other hand through the body's own production with the help of UV-B radiation.

However, meeting your vitamin D requirements through food only works to a limited extent: on the one hand, there are only a few foods that contain a significant amount of vitamin D. These include fatty sea fish, innards and fish. These include fatty sea fish, offal, edible mushrooms and eggs. On the other hand, only around 10 - 20 % of the sun vitamin is covered by the diet anyway, the rest has to be produced by the body itself through exposure to sunlight.

Due to our modern lifestyles, however, we spend a lot of time indoors instead of outdoors because of our jobs. Window panes, clothing and sun protection prevent the sun's rays and the necessary UV-B radiation from reaching our skin. In addition, in Central European latitudes, the amount of sunlight between October and March is generally not sufficient to produce enough vitamin D - even if we like to spend time outside in light clothing even at low temperatures.

NN Vitamin D3 2500 is a high-dose vitamin D preparation that can be used to supply the body with the sun vitamin throughout the winter. The drop form enables simple and precise daily dosing.
