Important note

Breastfeeding is best for your baby. This is because breast milk has an ideal composition, helps to protect against infections and allergies and at the same time promotes the mother-child relationship. Breastfeeding is also the cheapest form of nutrition. The earlier and more often you breastfeed your baby, the sooner the milk flow will start.
A balanced diet during pregnancy and after delivery favours breastfeeding. The decision not to breastfeed can only be reversed with difficulty and supplementary feeding of infant formula can impair the success of breastfeeding. Talk to your paediatrician or midwife if you want to use infant formula. Directions for use

Please follow the instructions for use carefully when preparing infant formula. Improper preparation and storage can lead to health problems due to the growth of unwanted germs. Prepare the food fresh before each meal and feed it immediately. Do not reuse leftover food. Clean the bottle, teat and ring thoroughly and boil for 5 minutes. Do not heat infant formula in the microwave (risk of scalding).

Preparation:

Wash hands thoroughly and ensure a clean working environment.
Pour the required amount into a sterile bottle and heat to a drinking temperature of approx. 37°C.

Check drinking temperature and feed within one hour.
Do not reuse leftover food.

The amount to drink per bottle may vary from individual to individual. The recommended amount to drink and number of bottles are guidelines. After the 4th month, feeding jars and porridges can be started in consultation with the paediatrician. One bottle should be omitted with each complementary meal.
